The WiFi didn't work in the room, likely due to poor connectivity. Housekeeping requires requests for room service, which can lead to inconveniences. The bathroom felt cramped, and there were maintenance issues like a shower head malfunctioning .

very nice people! especially the Frau Mayer & Frau Masha! When we reserved the room in china,there was some problems with our Visa Card & they kept our room for us & offered us very comfortable room & nice service.The breakfast is also good.

We were greated by a very friendly receptionist. Made you feel most welcome and all receptionists were helpful and friendly. Able to give good advice about my travel and sightseeing questions. The breakfast was very good and fresh and constantly refilled. It was a nice quiet area to stay in on the opposite side of the river to town but there were many restaurants/pubs/cafes in the area to choose from. Walk into the old town was probably 10 - 15 Mins, not far.

The only internet available was at extremely high prices. Air conditioning would have been appreciated as very hot days and nights when we stayed. There was also no tea and coffee facilities available outside breakfast. But I would recommend this hotel outside high summer.

Ope, perfect spot for the Christmas markets! Just a short stroll to the main area, and our room fit three of us just fine. Super clean and comfy, and I gotta mention the friendly staff who helped with all our needs. Found some cute bars nearby too!

The location of the hotel was perfect - not too far from an iconic town hall. And the area was very nice, next to the airport or train station, the Christmas market in Frankfurt and transport and shops...

I have stayed at the Maingau most years since 1978 for Musikmesse. The restaurant is superb , as always -

The location is conveniently situated near charming cafes and bars. The breakfast offered gluten-free products, a nice touch. Cleanliness was an issue, as there was unaddressed dirt in the room, and the interaction with reception staff was unpleasant when reporting the problem. The bathroom layout was suboptimal, with odors affecting the experience.

Central heating, a work desk and a television with satellite channels available in the comfort queen room. Exceptionally comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Marvellous location close enough to the river to the old part of Frankfurt, the south rail station, and Saturday open markets, 15 min walk to train station. Excellent food in the restaurants such as Atschel, located 10 min away.

Friendly staff and ideal location - a bit quieter but easy access to old town and city across the river.

Ask for a room without a connecting door to ensure better sound insulation during your stay.

We opted for the the breakfast option and were certainly pleased with that we did as it proved very good.

Small room which badly needed updating.

I loved how the breakfast was made to order with delicious eggs and the cozy lounge area was perfect. It was a nice touch to have a mini fridge in the room and complimentary coffee in the lobby. Just be ready for a few stairs if you have heavy bags, but it's a small price to pay for such a great stay 😊
